Today I entered the kitchen with a more positive outlook. I had became more flexible with whatever task that was given to me, including ones that involved processing meat. As Jennifer was not present today, we had to do a lot of prepping to do for Monday as there would be more orders that day to compensate. It was a more laid back day as we just had to cut vegetables, thaw/process the meat, and cook the quinoa. Jeremiah was surprised as I was taking more initiative, as well as not complaining while cutting the meat products. We also labeled the boxes with their appropriate stickers and stacked them up on the shelves to have them all ready for the next week. The rest of the kitchen was pretty empty as the other volunteers had completed their work much earlier.
